Couple More Questions

I am eagerly awaiting the start of my 1st HST cycle Monday. I have a few questions:

1. For chest; is it better to do flat or incline presses? Also, better to do barbell or DBs? I am also planning to do weighted dips.

2. Is one shoulder movement sufficient? I am planning to do seated BB presses. Are they enough?

3. I would like to keep my volume to 10 or fewer exercises. I am currently planning:

Leg Press
Leg Curl
Incline DB Press
Dips
Lat Pulldowns
Seated BB Press
EZ Bar Curl
Skullcrushers
Calf Raises
DB Shrugs

Any suggestions for additions/deletions bearing in mind that I'd like to stay at 10 or fewer?

Thanks in advance!

If you are relatively new to weightlifting, one movement for shoulders is fine.  You will also be hitting them with your chest exercises.  If you are going to do incline db flyes for the stretch, that's cool, but if you are just going to do incline presses, then I would use a bar -- you'll be able to push more weight.

You may want to consider squats and/or some kind of deadlifts instead of the leg press and curl.  In my opinion, these exercises have huge benefits that you won't get from the press and curl.  Depending on your goals, you may want to consider a second back exercise, as well.

I second that emotion.

But I love back work. :)

Here's a quick 8

Chins
Rows
Squat
Calf Raise
Incline BB
Dips
Press, your option
Upright Rows, Gironda Style

If you have to do 10

Then add direct BI and Tri work
