I'm in SD as well.
I've changed 2 things
1) I'm almost totally off the carbs, less than 60 grams per day.
2)I'm doing brisk walks on elevated treadmill 4-5 degrees for 1 hour each day 6 days a week.
Still eating the protein shakes, cottage cheese, egg whites, tuna in water and other protein like usual.
The carbs will put the wrong kind of weight back on, unless it's being taken along with your weight workouts.
I'm not interested to gain one pound during SD. In fact, I'm hoping to lose a few pounds of the wrong kind of weight.
