Dropsets

I plan to include dropset during my 5's, and was wondering how much weight should I strip for certain exercises?

Also is it recommended to do dropsets during the last 2 weeks? I plan just to do the maxweight of 5's during that time instead of negatives. Thanks :)

For drops, you can do the basic KISS method and just drop the weight by 5-10 lbs. depending on the exercise and do about 5 reps and either stop the set or do one more drop set in the same manner.  You can also do them by figuring up percentages of the weight you are using, i.e. drop weight by 25% and do 5 reps, drop weight again by 25% and do another 5 reps.  I do the KISS method as you will find that by the time you get to your drops, you really don't wanna get out your calculator and figure what weight to do next. ;)
Oh yes, drops during the 5's is most common, especially when doing negs is too risky if you train solo.

*Had to edit that post. I reread it and discovered it looked my 3 year old daughter typed it. :D

I usually strip about 25% of the weight off for each round of drops.

Yes, that is the appropriate time to use them.
