excercises/plans for injured training?

Ok, I have a friend that is decently injured from a car accident and just random things. She is trying to get more fit,and I thought well... HST has done me this much, its good to spread the word. I just don't want to setup any workout plans/routines that'll screw things up. So this is the situation.

5'5
115lbs
petite(average - below body fat for 18 year old)
injured the muscles around the 5th-7th cervical vertebrae, the disks can basically wiggle around...

she gets physical therapy here and there to help with the pain in the neck.

also suffered from a pinched siatic nerve around the lumbar area.

I think that's about it. If anybody has any safe suggestions about which excercises to choose from or safe HST progressions let me know. I was thinking of just staying with extremely light weights and work around the 20 rep range, high freq 4-5x a week, and working towards a 15 RM, but extending whatever her 20 RM is for a bit to make sure she can handle the loads as she gets to her 15 RM.(I still have no idea what excercise choices are safe though)

Well there it is in a nutshell. any suggestions are welcomed

Your friend has injured herself in a car accident and you are asking in some internet forum what kind of exercises she should do. You are planning some rep ranges and still have no idea what are safe!! And still they should be HST....

Leave the recovery aid for the pro`s..jeez!
