As the title says, so you keep one. I started to write down (on Excel sheet) calories and proteins on everything i eat. It appeared i have been undereating for some time now

May be i'm getting some real growth, as i'm eating enought now :)

Absolutely, I track it all, Calories, Pro, Fat, and carbs. Heck even water. ;)

I always try to accomplish this, but it always gets way too complicated to even get it all down accurately and quickly. Especially while in school and at work, ya know? Any tips?

PS> how do you do that in Excel?

I tracked my food intake for about 2 weeks just to actually see how much of everything I was eating. Personally, I don't think it's necessary to keep track of every day but you should give it a shot for like a week or so. That way you can get macros down.

Not to sound like a shill, but I use NutriCounter on my Palm. It's pretty cool, and you don't have to get on the net every time you want to use it. Fitday is great too, BTW, but I've found it frustrating over a dial-up line.
