I'm a teacher, so just last week, I began associating again with coworkers after having the summer off.
"How much weight have you lost? How much weight are you losing?" That was the tone. I had a couple of "You're looking buff..." comments too, which was nice.
But about weight loss, I weigh a little more than I did the last time these people saw me! In fact, my pants are getting a little tight, so I think I may have gained a little too much fat in this cycle.
But again today at church, I was told that I look like I have lost more weight!
It is obviously a weight distribution/body composition thing. In fact, going by the BMI, I am overwieght! But my pants (althogu getting tight) are 29 and 30 inch waists. How's that for overweight?!?
