I'm about to dive back into HST after taking a few months off. I've completed 3 successful HST cycles and I've had satisfatory results but the last was really tough and I didn't make it to some of my exercise weight goals at the end.
I feel I'm either not pushing myself enough with only 1 set per excercise or I just don't have the energy to completely push myself at the end the way I need to during the near max sessions, or both.
I would like to try an AM/PM split this time around, as I think it would solve these problems....but is this correct?
I would have to get up at 6:30 AM, workout, go to work, come home, and work out again at around 5 PM.
I guess my more important question is....does anyone else have trouble with going to sleep after a workout in the evening and then getting up early to workout again?
Any feedback would be appreciated.
