Isolation Exercises

Hi All

Been reading all about HST. A lot of stuff seems to be answered all ready but I have 1 question.

The recommedations are for all large,multi-joint exercises. HOWEVER what if, for example my shoulder and triceps fail first before my chest [which they do] when performing something like a chest press. Same goes for me, when performing pullups/downs, my arms fail first. Sure my chest and back are worked hard when working those exercises but it just feels i could get more out of them if the other body parts had not failed -- i'm sure others have felt this in their workouts as well.

Thanks for the assist.

I'd recommend doing a post-compound exhaustion set.

Chest - do your bench, then straight after you fail do a set of flyes

Lats/back - do the chins/rows first, then straight after you fail do a set of pullovers.

are pullovers a good exercise for the back?...thought they were for the chest?....sorry my question is a bit off topic...
