I remember my dad getting a set of Weider plastic-coated concrete weights and a Weider bench when I was about 10 years old. They came with a set of exercise wall-charts. I had no clue about training so I followed the charts to the letter. There were rather too many exercises but there was a core of solid lifts. If I had only known how to eat, I might have made some good gains. Still, thanks to my dad and Mr Weider, I started along a path that I'm still enjoying today.
RIP Mr. Weider.
