low carb to higher carb bulking

Hey people,

I need a lil help here. I'm 150 lbs, around 10 - 12% bf. I've been low carbing for 3 weeks (only 30 g of carb for a day), and high carbing for the weekend. I was trying out Dr. Mauro's Metabolic Diet. Well... I feel I couldn't live with this diet forever, it's a pain in the butt trying to find low carb food throughout the day. Not to mention, it's really hard to ingest that much calories low carbing.

Now, I want to go through one HST cycle and follow the "Eating for size" plan. I maintain my weight on 2700 cals low carb. I would like to increase it to 3000 cals (1 g/lb for protein, 20% fat, and the rest from carb).

I need your suggestion though. Is it wise to jump from low carb maintenance calories to high carb above maintenance calories (I'll be getting around 450 g of carb from this plan), or should I transition using moderate carb or something like that first? I just want to make sure I'm not gaining crazy amout of fat because I jump from low carb to high carb. Please help!
