nutrient partitioning

Once you account for vital metabolic processes (making sure your organs work), calories can go towards two processes - building/maintaining LBM and building/maintaining fat stores.
Depending on genetics, exercise (these are the big two), supplement use, and macronutrient intake, your body will tend to preferentially use calories towards one or the other process.

n.b. - this is assuming you're natural. Drugs change everything.

What do you mean by exercise? I'm guessing you mean HST where your body is stimulated to gain muscle?
At first I thought you might mean aerobics as exercise, but that doesn't really promote LBM?

Is an ec stack a drug or a supplement?
