Hi HST team
I have got short question with a I think long answer
Quoting form HST FAQ
and didn't find the mechanism why carbs could slow down oxidation of CLA
I have only found link between
1. insuline and release of FA from adipose tissue
2. connection between oxidation of short (and medium)-chain fatty acids and carbs
could some with more knowledge point me mechanism how carbs could prevent CLA and O3 from beeing oxidized

I have searched thru my materials[b said:Quote[/b] ]Keep in mind that omega-3s will be preferentially oxidized (burned for fuel), so a lot of what you supplement on a low carb diet will be burned as energy before it can be stored in fat cells where it does its magic. Whenever possible, take your fish oils after a meal or after carbs. The carb load to the liver will decrease the oxidation of the fatty acids and allow more to pass through into the blood for storage. This is good when it comes to omega-3s and CLA.
