Per Workout Meal

What will be consider as a good meal before workout.
Until now I eat 1 slice of cheese and 2 scoops of oatmeal and 1 fruit.
After I read the FAQ'S I understand that is not a good meal before workout.
So are you eating before workout?.
P.s
My workout is in 17PM.
In 13PM I eat a big meal an work which include chicken , rice , beans , bread , and 1 fruit.
At 15:30 I was eating the pre-workout meal.

I would recommend a few carbs, some protien, and a little bit of good fats pre-wo. Just make sure you dont eat it to soon, or it might be laying on the gym floor before your done with the wo.

I often get cramps if I eat right before a wo.

Lots of complex carbs and some protiens do it for me though.
