pre workout shake

ive got a problem pre workout i drink a shake that contains:

whey protein (30g)
dextrose (30g)
creatine (5g)

the problem is, i always feel very sick during the training (starting after 40 minutes or so)

then i cant traing with full power....

i dont feel sick when i eat an protein bar before workout with the same macro-ratios....just the pre workout shakes does this....

what exactly might cause this? might it be the creatine? the dextrose?

Assuming the ingredients of your shake are not suspect, you might wish to add more water to dilute your shake. Too concentrated a drink can cause digestive discomfort.

Perhaps, if you described what exactly it is that you feel when you are feeling sick, we might be able to better pinpoint the likely causes of such discomfort.

I think its the idea of having a big glass of liquid before working out.
I have tried gatorade/whey pre workout shake. (1/2 before workoing out and 1/2 midway through) I felt sick the whole workout and actually puked at the end of my workout. Now I just have a post workout shake. its not worth feeling sick.
Or try taking your pre- and have time for it to settle before working out.
 
someon just told me it might be the creatine if youre not used to take it and still loading?


maybe i should drink some carb drink during workout? i dont eat anything during it...but this shouldnt be problem
