Preacher Curls...

I tought we were supposed to avoid isolation exercises and focus on compound ones. I was surprised when I saw Preacher Curls in the faq example chart. Or maybe I don't understant the HST concept entirely. If we can add isolation in the HST program, can I do something like upper body on monday and lower body next day and so on ?
