Protein bars v drinks...

Other than the obvious, price v convienience, what are the pros and cons? Do bars get digested/absorbed as well?
 
I remember a while ago Bill Roberts posting at T-mag that he tried to feed a bit of a protein bar to his hamster and the thing wouldn't eat it, and hamster aren't picky about what they eat. I thought this was funny....
 
I'll give my hamster protein shakes then....

I will be doing that but at present I'm reducing the oxygen every day in his hypobaric cage.
 
A lot of bars do not meet their label claims and use a lot of hydrolyzed gelatin (horse hooves.

) as protein sources. Most if not all don't taste good at all. Go with the shakes.
