I'm a lurker of about 2-3 weeks here, and decided to start training HST after a few DC cycles. Any criticism/input is encouraged and appreciated.

PR Stats:
Dead - 425
Squat - 345
Bench - 245 (worst bencher EVER. ;P)

Height: 5'11"
Weight: 210
BF%: 10%

My cycle is M/W/F as follows:

Deadlift(alternated with squat) 2x15
Bench(will be dips as soon as my belt comes) 2x15
BB Row 2x15
Standing Military 2x15
Skullcrusher 2x15
BB Curl 2x15

after 2 weeks i will likely switch to 2x10 or 3x10, then down to 3x5 or 4x5.


Mon, May 28 workout:

DL 2x15x225
Bench 2x15x135
Row 2x15x110
Military 2x15x75
BB Curl 2x15x70
Skullcrusher 2x15x60
 
You are my height, 5 lbs. heavier (I've been 215) and half my fat. Your strengths are about the same, and yes, your bench sux. Today. But I'll bet you can come up big with db bench if the bar is hard for you, like it is for me. Your squats are better than mine, but I started just about two months ago. Heckuva nice curl set there.
All in all, a good looking routine, if you want continuous arm iso's...how much do you get in the overhead press? Just curious since we're the same size. My max was about 185 I think; I'm having trouble getting over 175 right now. I'd love to see 225 some day.

Hey, thanks for the reply. Yeah, i'm going to swap out bench with weighted dips as soon as my chain attachment comes.

My best overhead press is 155x5, i've never maxed it for one rep before. Thanks for the kind words on my curls too. Chest is primary focus for now though! I'll be on the lookout for your log later on!

Today's workout was brutal:

Squat 2x15x235 (ow)
BB Row 2x15x125
Bench 2x15x140
Military 2x15x80
Skulls 2x15x65
BB Curl 2x15x75

Welcome to the board, if you wanted to bring that bench up I'm sure you could -maybe as easily as some form tweaks .

I decided to drop the BB curls and add chins. I'll probably still do an iso tricep exercise, possibly replacing it with a close-grip bench next cycle.
