Udo's Choice: A Not So Good Choice?

    Again the Berardi column puzzled me this week. His advice on EFA ratios and supplements was a little confusing in his recommendation of Udo's as a good source of Omega 3s etc.

    I thought the principle source of Omega 3's from Udo's is derived from flaxseed oil. Flaxseed being a poor choice for long chain fatty acids. I read elsewhere that you really cannot get enough long-chain fatty acids through the conversion of the short chain to long chain fatty acids to provide your EPA/DHA requirement.

    So is Udo's really an expensive "poor-man's" choice for supplementing Omega3's and EFA's.
