well you can say it is what I do, in part, with my paleo-like way of eating. When you remove all grain based foods, you remove a lot of calorie-dense, nutrient-poor food stuffs. Replacing these with fruits and vegetables, which are caloric-poor and nutrient rich, as the sole carb-source, gives you a high volume of food to eat. Volumetrics, which I know little about and will never no much of it, involves subbing caloric dense foods with caloric poor foods, thus you need to eat a lot more. What it does with fats and proteins, I don´t know. I like alot of fat and protein in my nutritional protocol.
