    If you have plates you can also do donkey calf raises, which, in my opinion, is one of the best exercises. Donkey Calf Raises these can also be performed with a friend or two on your back - one or two legged.

He did an example for a pec workout (or was it triceps), then left it without direct work for 2 weeks. After the rest period the muscle was still larger than it was before...

    Smith Machine or Power Rack

    I'd go for the power rack, too. My main reason is that the power rack allows you to work your stabilizers, while the smith will not...And I like to let my body work in its natural range of motion.

    Don't worry about SLDLs (stiff legged deadlifts). It's a good exercise if performed correctly and your body is fine with it. My many years of judo, soccer and football has made it impossible for me to do them without injuring myself or working with weights too light for progress...

    Hunger and calorie intake!!!!!

    I find my best friend in the battle against hunger is vitamins and water. Water fills me up, and the vitamins help against my body craving stuff. I also like to eat a little salt every now and then...for some reason this removes my cravings for sweets :confused:
