...than the expensive creatine+sugar products out there?

Should it be taken with something?

I've been putting it in my pre and post workout protein shakes becuase i'm trying to cut and therefore want to avoid carbs pre and post workouts. It doesnt seem to be working to great so far... (using creapure by reflex)

Most research has concluded that it is usually best when taken with some carbs.

Why are you trying to avoid carbs pre and post WO. There aren't many better times to take a few in. :)

i'm trying to lose some bodyfat, so as recommended by Blade in the FAQ's i'm avoiding carbs for up to an hour after my workouts and before too... Should i not be doing this?

While some research has shown increased insulin via glucose helps creatine uptake, it happens anyway without it. While it may not happen as quickly it still happens, and once it is saturated, who cares.
