Why is the GI of crystalline fructose so much lower than HFCS? Even HFCS has a lot of fructose in it!

If I drink a soda, I'll crash in 15 minutes, and if i drink a vitamin water (sweetened with crystalline fructose) I'll feel terrific! Why are they so different?

Crystaline fructose is basically pure fructose, where as HFCS has a similar profile to sucrose (55% fructose, 45% glucose)

The glucose raises the GI
