good read for newbies

Well, right now after checking the calc again, I have about 40 lbs of muscle to grow still. That's kinda cool.

It used to be less, but the past months have been pretty bad for my workout - endured sickness, didn't lift for a few months, too busy to lift, too busy to even eat right... and too stressed. I'm so busy and tired from work that I'd wake up in the middle of the night hungry - or perhaps lying in bed late at night trying to get some sleep, waiting to fall asleep, then I'd feel hungry - either case, I'm just so tired I don't even bother to get up, I just let myself fall asleep - or fall asleep again - and let the hunger pass.

I know, bad bad bad for my health. Lost about 15 pounds already since before I got sick a few months ago.

Hopefully, things will turn out better now, and I can get back to seriously gaining the 40 pounds of muscle the calc says I still have in me
