high-carb day(s) on diet?

Im currently trying to loose some bodyfat, and Im eating about 20 % carbs, 40 % fat, 20%  protein.

Ive heard that the body gets used to low carb intake and that you need some carbing-up days..

how often do you need to do those?, for how long? and how much carbs do you need to eat?

It's not that the body gets used to low carb... the issue is that your metabolism will slow down after a while. If I were you, I'd start by adding one or two high calorie days one the weekend, but only every other week. You don't necessarily need to do this, only if you notice that your weight loss is stagnating. It could be that you could be cutting for a month or more before metabolic slowdown becomes an issue.

Just don't let one or two high calorie days turn into a week long binge and you should be fine.
