High GI carbs

Hey all,

I was looking up some stuff on glycemic index, trying to find the perfect pre-workout carb. Maltose seems to be the best bet, GI of ~100, but im having trouble finding sources of it. I've been using honey, but I read today that it's got a GI of ~60, which doesnt sound that good.

So can I get Maltose anywhere besides GNC? or is there another good natural high GI carb that I can eat before and after I workout to get that nice insulin reaction?

If you have a home brewing supply store near you, they will have it. I believe it's cheaper there than PF or most other online sources, unless you buy a LOT.
