Hotterdog 4th repeat cycle

Looks like you're officially back, hotterdog! I hope the rest of the cycle goes very well, without interruption!
 
12 mar 08 lunch cardio

30 min flat walk 3mph, 100 cal, 2.32km

1) side lateral raise: 12.5 kg x 12 x 3
2) rear lateral machine: 40 ibs x 10 x 3

10 mar 08 mon
wk 2 , day 1 (15 reps)

1) barbell squats: 140 ibs
2) incline barbell press: 120 ibs
3) gironda sternum chins : 10 reps
4) barbell military press: 90 ibs
5) barbell shrugs: 140 ibs
6) ez barbell curls: 80 ibs
7) close grip bench press: 140 ibs
8) deadlifts: 200 ibs

actually i hesitated about doing deadlifts
as i felt kinda overburned from e cardio.
but i went ahead & did it.

question for u guys, have u experienced
yawning towards e end or any part of
yr workout? i experienced it today at e end.

does that mean my glucose level is totally
depleted to 0 or i'm just tired?

I may not be the best judge as I work out in the early morning, but I usually only yawn at the beginning of a workout - never the end. I'd guess either option (low glucose or just being tired) could be the culprit.
 
Don't worry, if your glucose level was at 0, you'd be dead.

You were probably just a little more tired today. It happens. You can't be 100% every day, and that's okay. You could try drinking a carb drink during your workout; gatorade, powerade or even a protein shake with some dextrose or sugar in it. That could help.
 
Dr. Pierre Debs recorded that he fell asleep for 10 mins at the gym after a heavy 10 x 3 session of deads! Not sure if he yawned though?

thanks guys, prob i had a combo of both.
i ate a bit more than usual after the workout
& before bed, this morning i feel more recharged.
e weather now sucks though, heavy downpour
almost everyday....

seems like i'm having a wet march over here
it's normally hot as hell which is good for tanning
but now it's like winter where it rains almost everyday
yesterday nite e temperature is lowest (by our
standards) at 21.8 degrees. brrr...... nothing
to do w training but it might affect yr mood.
u know like u guys training in winter.

but decided to skip to my 10s cause
there's gd friday nxt wk & I won't be
training so move my schedule up.

1) barbell squats: 150 ibs
2) incline barbell press: 130 ibs
3) gironda sternum chins : 10 reps
4) barbell military press: 90 ibs
5) barbell shrugs: 150 ibs
6) ez barbell curls: 80 ibs
7) close grip bench press: 150 ibs
8) deadlifts: 225 ibs (1 set only)

(just tried for fun smith seated calf raises
95 ibs x 20 reps x 2, more of feeln e movement)

been trying really hard to stuff my face.

my turn to work in office for half day.

just hit e office gym for some light
workout/stretching

1) leg extensions: 30 ibs x 10 x 2 (3 sec hold at top)
2) rear lat machine: 40 ibs x 15 x 2
3) seated lat raises: 7.5 kg x 10 x 2
4) flat dumbbell flys: 10 kg x 10 x 2

dun wanna overdo it. it's e wkend u know.

What is &quot;overdo&quot;? A training session is a training session; shouldn't be any different from your schedule. To me, if I can get off on saturday, it's the biggest workout of the week, because I don't have to &quot;save&quot; myself for working. (I do some physical days at work)

well, quadancer. sat is not a training day u see
but i just wanna do something light &amp; do
some movements not usually within my usual
training routines. besides, i only got dumbbells
&amp; a universal set in my office gym so workouts
are def different &amp; later on in e day, i would
be going out which means more energy
expenditure but more imptly unable to rest
like wat i'm able to do on a normal training
day. ta's wat i mean by not &quot;overdo&quot;
 
Ah. I forget that most of you guys stick to a rigid schedule, mostly M,W,F.
I train opportunistically due to work fluctuations.

today not really focused mentally though
i still finished it. prob tired from work.

did some running instead of usual low
impact cardio to up my heart rate for e fun of it.

running at 8.5km/h for 20 min (+5 min warm down)

skip deadlifts.
 
just a note. felt curious today as i seem to
feel that my feet seem to ache more this couple
weeks so wanna check on my fat level.

used e electronic scale at e gym which
had atheletic mode &amp; e gym instructor
helped me w it. I was expecting prob 12%
but it turned out to be only 8% !! wow.
