In his articles, Bryan insists that a high amount of carbs is vital for hypertrophy. At the same time, fewer carbs and more protein is recommended for cutting or maintaining.

What is the path to take for someone who ideally would like more mass but may be close to his genetic potential. At this stage, it gets hard to add more size, maybe the focus should be to maintain. Would you recomend lowering carb intake and perhaps raise protein?

Have you decided to maintain instead of pursue more mass? How do you know you are close to your genetic limit? If you are, then eating fewer carbs will not help you to continue growing. If you think you are near your genetic limit because you are no longer growing, then you are probably already maintaining. Once again, no reason to alter your diet to achieve what you are already experiencing.

That's a pretty good question, and I think it was basically answered.

One thing I am wondering--Should a person with endomorphic tendencies still use the regular method?(fairly high carbs)

Plug your stats into this calculator and see if you are close to your limits. If you are indeed at your limits and are content, you are pretty much free to eat how you wish (assuming adequate protein and training) and you shouldn't notice any decline in your physique other than changes in conditioning (bodyfat).

The only real threat to your size once you've acheived your limits is chronic illness (very catabolic), and hormonal decline (andropause).
