Hello everyone. I am new to the forum and have a question about the best type of diet with HST ( I searched, but I didn't come up with anything I was looking for, so hopefully this is not a frequently asked question )
Here is my situation: I am 5'11", 285 lbs, and 32 years old. I have been lifting for about a month and a half now, and have made ok strength gains while losing a bit of bodyfat. My question is this: since HST is designed for growth, will I see any gains while on HST as far as LBM? Also, would this be the best workout, just starting out and needing to drop some fat percentage?
I am currently doing a 3-day on/1-day off workout cycle, with cardio thrown in at the end of my workout (roughly 15-20 minutes) three days a week. I have also established my 15/10/5 rep maxes.
