Hello:

I am looking for the BEST ONLINE Food log / Diet & Nutrition Calculator for the Mac OS X.

I have found two so far, (don't know if they're the best, but here they are...)

Diet Sleuth @ :

http://www.blackcatsystems.com/download/diet.html

the other is

Health Engage Diet + Fitness @ :

http://www.healthengage.com/healthengagedietfitness.html

They both have USDA food databases + you can add your own.
But they do cost $$$, so if I figure I am going to have to pay, then I would like to know which ones are the BEST ones out there...

Ideally one that has a good food database + calorie counters are ideal. I have seen some that has BMR, and workout logs as well... are they any good? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

fitday.com

yes, I am hearing alot about it.

Questions ?

Does it keep track of PAST information? (What I ate yesterday, calories, protein, etc?)

Can you download and print your information out?

Is it private?

Thanks again for your help.

Fitday rules, its free and does everything. If you buy the actual Fitday software its even 10x better due to all the features it adds.

I just joined FitDay and was playing around with it. It doesn't do anything for BF %. It uses the BMI which at least for me can be WAY out of wack. Is there anything else out there that deals with BF% instead of BMI. Or am I looking wrong at FitDay, it looks like a great deal. I may even pick it up even if I don't use it's BMI stuff.

Check out Bodyfitdb .This program seems to be the best one out there. It does cost money to download (or they send you a CD), but it looks to be incredibly, incredibly useful. It's got literally EVERYTHING. I can't think of one thing this baby doesn't (practically) come with. I've yet to get it though, so don't blame me if I'm dead wrong.
