Posture?

    Does anyone know anything about improving posture?

    For example, I find it very uncomfortable to sit in a car, or in front of a computer.

    First off, I think it's normal to become uncomfortable sitting in a car or chair for long periods of time. Even the best conditioned people will begin to ache after some time. Any more than three hours is too much for me.

    Search Google for "Egoscue". You may want to go with them, to determine whether you have an anterior or posterior pelvic tilt. If so, you need to correct this first. That could be the problem right there.

    After that, learn to train the abs properly.

    Well I have a hard time sitting in a car as well, especially cause I slouch. This might seem off the wall but it works. Get in your car and sit down normally...then move your rear view miror so that its too high...now youll have to sit up straight to see it! Haha I actually do this and it has helped my posture in the car a REAL lot.
