what do u mix urs in?

i know that water aids in quicker digestion so is better to use post workout.

Its random, I'll mix 2 scoops (62g -- 40g protein) in either 1 cup of fat free milk and 1/3 cup of water, or I'll mix it in 2 cups of milk, or just 1 1/2 cups of water. If I'm in a surplus I tend to go with 2 cups of milk. If I'm cutting I'll go with water sometimes and add 1 cup milk when I need the added protein. I also drink 1 cup of milk before bed regardless since that helps me sleep (tryptphan). I add 1 tbs of flax oil to it every morning regardless.

The times when I am more likely to use milk is almost always after a workout.

What's most important is getting the protein. What to mix it in -- water, juice, milk, soy -- is all fine-tuning.

Just don't mix it in a cup of olive oil.

One thing to be aware of is the carbs associated with the milk, even skim/fat-free.

If you are being particular about limiting your carb intake - whatever your reason - don't drink too many milk/protein shakes. Those carbs add up quickly.

Yeah, mix it in whatever you like. No liquid is going to slow gastric emptying significantly. The carbs in milk will also help you go a bit more anabolic as well.

IF you're trying to loose weight just add water.

If you're trying to gain weight add milk, half & half or
ice cream :) mmmmmm
