RECOMMENDED DAILY PROTEIN INTAKE

What amount of protein intake you recommend me , guys?
Some "official" opinion is a 1g per kg body mass . (Sorry, I`m confused with pound/kg values ,but 1kg=2.2 pounds).
Some nutritionists say that sportsmen should intake 1-2 g per kg of body mass. My daily intake is above 1 g per kg , but it varies. Will my muscles grow better if I take more protein? Whats your recommendation?
 
When trying to change your body composition, your better bet is to approach 2g/Kg. If you're trying to gain muscle, it will help. If you're trying to lose fat, it will help preserve muscle.
 
People not involved in any training (resisntance or otherwise) the normal recs are 0.8g/kg

For people invovled in weight training the recommendations usually range from 1.2-2.0g/kg depending on different situations.
you may as well stick to 2g/kg as its simple to calculate and good for both dieting and hypertrophy.
