Same calories while SD?

Given that I almost always eat clean (I'm so used to that i have digest problems otherwise) should I lower caloric intake
during SD and can I reduce protein grams while sd without losing weight?

I'm asking this because i used a kind of HIT workout and every 2 intense weeks i used to rest 1 week; well in that week I couldn't eat as before but I had to reduce food amount otherwise I was bad (I didn't digest,my intestine get blocked..as for indigestion).Ok then I ate less but in that days I also loose around 2Kg of lean mass.

How do you know you lost 2kg of lean mass ? You probably lost 2kg of water from taking less carbohydrates. When you take less carbohydrates, less water is stored in the muscles. As soon as you upregulate your carbohydrate intake, the water will fill the muscles again.

I would advise to eat calories for maintenance. Your maintenance would be slightly lower of course since you don't workout during SD.

As for indigestion, I suggest you search it a bit more... You will probably find that you can attribute it to something else, like lactose, too few or too much fiber, colitis or other intestinal problems etc. Eating "clean" is good, but it doesn't explain your problem: What exactly in eating "dirty" is the cause for the problems ? You'll have to isolate it. Foods are foods and calories are calories. Sugar is sugar whether it comes from a cookie or from an apple. Saturated fat is contained both in avocados and in Doritos. With that, I mean you should investigate what exactly it is that is causing troubles.

hmm I think my problem is too much fibers but i cant be sure.
If that is the case what should i do?When my stomach blocks what should i eat?(most times i dont eat at all)
And also how can i keep gi low with low fibers?(low gi carbs all contains a lot of them)

Thx mic

Well, you have to test it. Eliminate fiber for a week and see what happens.
Perhaps increasing monounsaturated fat (olive oil) may help. Some probiotics may help too. Assuming of course you don't have something that requires a medical/drug approach.
Low GI is not an issue when you eat a mixed meal. When adequate fat is present, all carbs become low GI.

U opened my eyes ..
I cut almost all fibers,i took probiotic yogurt and added lactic ferments (hmm ithink this word doesnt exist i hope u understood)pills. This is only my 2nd day of "cutting fibers"
,I feel ALOT better and I've never been so hungry before.
I hope that was the only problem anyway.

Thank u micmic.

You can keep your calories the same as long as you keep your fat low.

If you have bumped up your calories pretty high during the cycle, you probably would want to drop them even if you do cut the fat.

What about a cutting diet? I have been on a cutting diet for my first hst cycle eating roughly around 1800 calories per day. What do you guys/girls recommend I eat during my 14 day SD? I won't be doing any activitys what so ever but sitting on my butt.
