Two issues i'm having atm

Back to the BB Rows debate, I find pendlay rows and 45 degrees row completely different in terms of feel and movement.

I go less than shoulder width grip with 45 degrees and pull to the waist, whereas pendlays, the grip is wider than shoulder width and weight is pulled to mid-riff region.

This thread has tempted me into incorporate both as I like both in their own right and they also hit different ancillary muscles.

You are exactly right.

Good call on doing both if you have the room for it.

How are you doing your chins? When I do weighted chins, it is virtually identical to pulldowns in how my arms move. The difference is that I'm not seated with chins, and I'm pulling myself up instead of pulling the weight down. Tears the hell out of my lats.
