Workload distribution

I was wondering: I do a fullbody workout every other day. Would it be a good or bad idea to stop working out my stomach on training days and doing that workout on the off day?

Ex: Monday, fullbody minus stomach
tuesday: stomach, wednesday: fullbody minus stomach and so on?

The reason that I pick out stomach is because I have the equipment to train that at home!
 
I think it is good..... in fact that is what I do,,,, I divide my training in 2, AM & PM... at 5AM I do 1 day 30-45 min cardio and the next day 30-40 min abs, 3 times a week... to me it has several advantages like:
1) you can have slip 1 more exercise in your weight training
2) on your abs days you can really focus on that, if not then legs or biceps or chests become the main target of your workout
