    It's my understanding that flax oil goes rancid quickly. You should only buy it from a refrigerated case at the store, and don't cook with it. I've also heard that rancid flax oil is particularly unhealthful. If these are gym myths, I hope someone will correct me.

    I find that wearing a belt improves my awareness of my back muscles while I'm lifting or squatting. I don't even bother to tighten the belt--just having it ON reminds me to "watch my back." As long as I consistently remember to think about my back, I avoid injuring it. I like gloves...

    Ohhh..."the reasoning behind sd, becoming weaker so that you're not increasing weights indefinately"...??? I don't think I like the sounds of that! Shouldn't a continuous increase in strength follow along with increased hypertrophy, even though hypertrophy is the primary focus here?
