Also, having more calories at once may cause a greater insulin spike!

Brian and others - can Nitrovarin work?

I'm not sure if you've all heard of the product called Nitrovarin. Supposedly its a specially designed time-release, slow-digesting protein that you drink right before bed. It could be possible, but I don't see how it can be any more effective than regular cassein. Is anybody familiar with...

    before bed?

Though you spread meals out evenly throughout the day, is there a specific amount of calories and protein you should eat right before bed?

    Consider this!!!

How many calories over your daily expenditure (or generally. BMR) is most effective for muscle gain while staving off extra fat gain?

    Consider this!!!

I remember previously thinking that you should wait about an hour after training for your first meal as it will increase the fat burning process? What are your takes?

    VITARGO?

I'm inquiring rather than arguing...but here are the claims made with Vitargo-CGL briefly stated in my own words: - because there is no sugar, a pre-mature insulin spike is avoided, thus allowing maximum transportation of creatine - restores glycogen 70% faster than dextrose - passes through...

    WATER?

I did a search and have read a few posts on type of water which is best to drink but still do not have a clear idea!!! - Do things like brita etc...filter out the minerals? Tap water in Canada is fairly clean - is spring water necessary? Also, i'm assuming like calories, that water...

    Was wonderin'? Beginner here

Not sure yet if this is a stupid question or not - but are strength-enhancing supplements effective for the HST user as the increments are already pre-set. I asked a similar question before regarding NO2 - bud sadly no response. Recovery supplements like HMB though are obviously effective...

    NO2

I would imagine that NO2 is effective with protein synthesis etc., but would the strength gains be very beneficial considering that there are pre-set increments in the HST program? Basically, is NO2 worth the price based on how well it complements the HST system?
