10 cycle

are the 10's really necessary guys? what is the purpose of them. I figure I might as well just jump into the 5 cycle right after im done with 15's... what do you guys think?
 
The 10s can still cause hypertrophy... is this your first cycle? If so, you should do them. Once this cycle is over, then you could try a cycle without the 10s and see if your progress is any better. If you do remove the 10s, I would suggest stretching the 5s and post-5s out to fill the two weeks reserved for the 10s.
 
My experience has been that beginner and intermediate lifters, i.e. less than 5 years of lifting, seem to get the most out of rep ranges of 8 to 12 while advanced lifters seem to do better in the 5 to 8 range. Just an observation. no scientific studies to back it up. Experiment and see what works best for YOU.
