I've been a devout max-ot trainer for almost three years at this point. I've found that I've reached my strength plateaus on nearly every muscle group and as a result haven't been able to continue the progressive loading that seemed to work so effectively when I started. HST looks really attractive in contrast.
I will say that Max-OT has really done wonders for my strength, and I hate to let it go completely. So my question is:
Would a system where Max-OT and HST is alternated, say every 8-12 weeks, be beneficial or counter-productive?
Thoughts?
