hello everyone,

after playing soccer as a kid, lots of leg training without stretching and mostly i supose genetics ive got quite a bit anterior pelvic tilt

ive read some articles about it and i get the impression that if you fix it you will end i lifting bigger weights and of course more safetly.

anyone in here with experience on anterior pelvic tilt? did you do anything about it? if so what did you do about it?
the most common advise i come around is stretching the quads hips and lower back while strenghting the abs, glutes and hams. ive also heard foam rolling is good but i dont got a clue whats thats really about

maby anyone here got any thoughts and/or experience with it and can give me a few tips on what to focus and and if its an important thing to adjust?

im currently doing bill stars intermedient 5x5 program witch is not that biasd toward hams and glutes.. maby i could exchange the regular DL and squat against sumo dl and romanian dl?

I have your problem also. (A. pelvic tilt) I do sumos and squats, and can get quite heavy in the sumos, but squats are still problematic in a way, somewhat painful. I've recently changed to ATG squats, stopped using knee wraps and belt, and am coming up in them slowly. I'm at about 75% of where I was.
Sumos tempt you to use your back just like regular deads, so you have to really work on form, focus on legs.

are you working on correcting your pelvic tilt or are you just making sure to lift safe with your condition? do you have an anterior tilt aswell or you you have a posterior tilt?
