I've been thinking about a good bulking diet lately, and here's what I got hit with - SUMO DIET!
their formula is - train-eat-sleep,
Cause training on an empty stomach puts the body into
starvation mode, which then tells it to store more calories.
so maybe by reversing it: sleep-eat-train, we limit the
number of calories that get stored as fat and more would
go towards building muscle.
Seems like nothing new BUT! The thing is Sumo wrestlers
take a 3-4 hour nap! right after eating! So the goal should
be staying active after eating and not having any
high-calorie food before bedtime. Or at least better
managing the timing to direct calories towards building
muscle not fat. (I think Sumo wrestlers are a good example
of different feeding pattern and effects of timing.)
About FOOD:
There's a Japanese dish called - Chankonabe, basically its
a stew with _everything_ in it.
Bird/Fish/Meat,
Rice/Pasta/Noodle, - (gladiators mostly ate barley - found
that out by reading forensics research)
Veggies/Fruits/Seaweed,
WATER
the best goddamn nutrient combination ever.
BTW:
A week ago was 1 year since I signed up for a gym membership.
An hour ago I was 32 pounds heavier and at the same bf%. I think HST works!
