Any suggestions on footwear while lifting. Since I've started doing squats I have been developing minor heel pain. I currently wear a newbalance crosstraining shoe. I added a heel insole which has helped some, but am looking at better solutions.
Colby is right about some people going barefoot - saw a guy doing just that today - but I don't recommend bare feet as you really do need instep/arch support once you are lifting heavy. I personally think a good pair of lifting shoes is a really good investment.
