H hockmasm New Member May 30, 2013 #1 I just started the HST routine and when I finish the 10 rep cycle I'll be going on vacation for 1 week. What do I do when I get back? Do I go ahead and start the 5 rep cycle or go back to doing 10's for another two weeks?

Old and Grey Super Moderator Staff member May 30, 2013 #3 Life gets in the way a lot. I usually do something like start the 5's when I return but start on the light side (maybe 10-15 lbs lighter than I would have depending on the exercise) and go in lower increments to my 5 RM over 3 weeks.
