I Think I Tore a Muscle

I don't claim to be fully knowledgeable of it...but you might want to try looking at some of the prolotherapy web sites. It's a different mode of thinking...but they claim to be able to help things like what you have faster.
 
i've read so many incidents on injury from doing flat bench presses. i think that exercise should be really avoided from now on..
incline bench is a good alternative. or chest press machines.
