My right bicep has been twitching on and off for the past week and a half. Coincidentally, I haven't been lifting (holidays + sick = SD) during this span of time. Should I be worried about this?
I get those, occasionally, here and there on the body. They just go away after a while. Nerves I guess. Worst one was my right cheek (the FACE, dangit) that went on for about a week: I thought it was becoming permanent!
I had my cheek twitch before too. I think the muscle twitch has slowed down a bit, but I found out that a magnesium deficiency can result in muscle twitches. I have been having another problem in the past two weeks as well: noise sensitivity. I have a tube in one of my ears still, and I was suspecting it is falling out, but this sensitivity is in both ears.
This page says that this condition can be caused by magnesium deficiency, but supplementation should show immediate results, so I will see how this works out. I just got off some meds this past weekend, so that may have something to do with it too.
