Please clear this up...

Simple question:  If I want to max out before every cycle, is there an SD between the last week of the HST cycle and the week of Maxing-out?
example:
Max-out
 -SD-
HST cycle
Max-out
 -SD-
HST cycle
and so on.
Please just tell me yes or no.  The explanations I've gotten about this already sort of confused me.
 
I would advise testing your maxes directly after your post-5's/negs of a cycle..

weeks 1-8 - hst cycle
week 9 - test RM's
then SD for a week or two and start up a new cycle
 
2wks15s
2wks10s
2wks5s
2wks negs or carry on with 5s
finish on fri sd start back a wk on mon
8wks training 9days sd
