Power Factor Training

I am relatively new to lifting still (year and a half at most.) I did the traditional HIT method for about a year until January where I was converted to PF training. I had decent gains in my shoulders and biceps with moderate gains elsewhere, but eventually I had diminishing returns as even doing partial reps with the high weight once a week was tough on joints. I was wondering if anyone else here has tried it and what they thought about it.

P.S. I am stuck to HST like glue now, and I am only halfway through my first cycle!

I own the PF training book by Peter Sisco and John Little and gave it an honest try.  I can tell you in all honestly to put it very nicely my gains were very very minimal if any.  There are so many logical and scientific flaws throughout the entire PF Training Manual too many to list in this post.  Mainly, the two biggest in my opinion is
1. the work per unit of time thing made absolutely no sense, if this were true all the soccer mom power walkers would be walkin around with legs like Tom Platz.
2.How much weight you can support is not effective for buildiing muscle than contracting your muscles through a larger range of motion.
3. I can go on forever
The book also lacks "scientific evidence" as the cover of the book reads " a scientific approach to Buildin Lean Muscle Mass"

If I remember correctly Drew Baye has a pretty good critique on his site on PF Training
