Could someone who knows more about diet than me (probably most of you) breifly explain in laymans terms why it is so important for someone wanting to lose bodyfat (not a bodybuilder) to keep their protein levels reasonable to succeed. I thought around 1 - 1.5g per lb of lean body mass. Is this right? My freind (lets call them) won't listen to me.
BTW this person is female and doing vanilla HST on a slight calorie deficit.
TIA,
J
