Pullovers

Momentum shift as in when you do a repitition to fast and instead of your muscles working, momentum (the mass moving with a decent velocity) and gravity work together as the acting force on the load.

Bent arm pullover

This is the one I do most often, however I do it flat on a decline bench, this variety though seems to offer a better stretch and more stability as well as a bit of core involvement, a good compound i.o.w.

The best way to do pullovers that I have ever seen has to be using the early Nautilus pullover machine. Awesome piece of gym kit but I bet it cost a bomb.

Fausto: that's the ticket! I just did them laying on a flat bench.

Lol: That's a wild rig! I've seen some similar, more modern machines, and our local gym has a lever machine (plate loaded) that does that, along with presses, and lat rows. Still, for constant tension, the cables work.
