Ready-to-drink protein : useless or not?

I dont think protein is likely to break down as creatine does, especially it is sealed...but

1. ready-to-drink bottles usually need more place to store
2. are much more expensive

so why to pay more if mixing a shake takes just 30seconds...

No, the RTDs on the shelves today are stable. They even have whey protein that can be pasturized now, giving it a very long shelf life with no degredation or denaturation.

However, this does not mean that all brands are of equal "quality". This depends on the raw ingredients and attention to detail during the manufacturing process.

are you aware of any particular brand that is producing quality RTD's?
